The U14 Striker Girls have reached the quarter finals at the U.S. Finals for the Nike Manchester United Premier Cup. Enroute to a perfect 3-0-1 record so far, the team has defeated the NJSA Blast 1 - 0, the Dallas Texans 2 -1 and Ohio Premier 1 - 0. In the girl's final match, and the match to determine the winner of the group, the Striker girls drew 1 - 1 vs. Real Colorado.
As a result of winning the group, the girls will face a familiar foe in Surf tomorrow morning.
On the boys side, the Strikers rebounded with a 2-1 over Weston (Florida) and thus went 1-1-2 which was good enough to take second in their respective group and also a trip to the quarterfinals. They too will face a familar and local opponent in Arsenal FC.
