Jake Stenberg, a member of the Strikers FC U17/18 Development Academy team, has accepted a scholarship offer to join Coach Adam Cooper's St. Mary's program in the fall of 2012. St. Mary's, a D-1 program located in Moraga California, progressed to the NCAA Elite 8 before finally succumbing to the 2011 NCAA Division I Champion University of North Carolina.
Jake, the son of Katie and Craig Stenberg is a resident of Huntington Beach and is set to graduate from Mater Dei High School next month.
